Default vacume actuator

how likely are these to fail while wheeling? I am debating putting a one piece axle in place of my stock two piece. I wont be doing any hard offroading just local forest trails and hunting woods...is it worth swapping?

when you floor it you lose vacuum and the actuator unlocks.

Dou know anything about the cable actuators...they seem to be cheap enough...and you don't have to worry about vaccume loss. My main concern is the weekness of the two piece axle

I also have seen the cable actuators. Was considering it, but haven't really looked into it yet.
