Default Vacum leak?

I've got an 88' cherokee that's having some issues. One main one is what me and my father believe to be a vacuum leak. It seems like when she's taking off and going through the gears she's either struggling to get gas or there may be a hose loose or something. Any ideas that could be helpful? Again it's like she's struggling to go, maybe bad fuel filter? But it just recently started as of today and before she was fine. I would really appreciate the help. And please let me know of I wasn't clear on anything.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

You need to test the fuel pressure with a gauge screwed to the test port on the fuel rail.

25 year old hoses dry rot. Replace all vacuum lines anyway.
Get a smoke test done. Saves a ton of guesswork.

Bad idle is most commonly a vacuum leak.
Rubber dry rots. Only little crack can do it.

Almost any parts house will have a fuel pressure test kit for sale. Some may even have them to rent.

***UPDATE***

She's making a loud hissing noise when I try to give her gas while moving. Seems like there may be a fuel line that came loose. Idk I'm at a loss my next step though is to check fuel pressure. Sighs she's the daily driver too :/

**another update**

She stopped doing it, but it's like she's not getting the gas that she needs so this weekend I'm gonna check the fuel pressure. But could it be the injectors by any chance?

No, it's most likely the fuel pump or a clogged filter.

Should be under the body. Driver side towards the rear, silver canister you can't miss. Atleast that's where it was on my 96
