That article mentions motor oil being OK in the NP231 because it doesn't have a pressurized oil pump. I thought there WAS an oil pump in the TC. Now I'm confused. Or is it just not "high pressure"?

Ah, so more like a circulation pump than what's in the AW4?

Also, the article mentions a front axle disconnect being helpful to prevent misting of the oil. I'm assuming this is the case with the NP231 since you can shift it to 2 hi and the front axle disconnects, right?
