I'm getting a roof rack because my front bumper is pretty heavy duty (that and I'm planning on putting on like 4~6 lights.

If you live in the city though, make sure not to use them on public roads such as a frontage road, cops pulled me over for that when they saw me.

I'll make sure I only use them on completely dark roads with no other traffic around

Is there an inexpensive way I could mount some lights on my roof?

I'm thinking I'm going to have my friend fab me a bar, a welding buddy would probably be your best bet. Or a JY...

I'd love to see that light configuration. There is just too much land carp where I live and a deer inmy grill is not an appealing option if I can prevent it.

The way I'm mounting them is two forward-facing lights (increase visibility range, will only use on dark roads and stuff) and two deer-finder lights (off to the sides, so I can see my sides a little better.

Ya be careful with driving lights in the city. I have a pair of hella's mounted on my bumper that throw tons of light BUT, One time I was on my way to pick up a friend at the bus station and got pulled over by a pretty chill cop for my lights. He wound up letting me off and informed me that the fine for using driving lights in the city is like 170 in the state of Maine. Needless to say I learned my lesson.

I just checked colorado law, and all they have to do is be between 54 in and 24 in off the ground.
