No, I haven't removed the old one yet, I'm just having difficulty seeing what it looks like.. nothing on there looks like the tranny mount I purchased.

I cant find any listings that give an option on the type of manual tranny
just that it works on both

Hm alright, I'll take a look at it and I'll snap a few pics in the morning. I just want to get this thing done with, it's been such a pain.

the first pic looks like the right one there should be 2 bolts that hold the mount to the trans and 4 studs that stick through the crossmember to hold it all together.+

its a 258 4.2

the 258 is quite rare to see i think I have only come across it once or twice. there is a big difference between the two trannies. The BA10/5 is shorter and I thought the rear shaft runs a steady bearing as aposed to a full shaft. The pic above looks like the auto out of a 4l. isnt a 258 carbureted? the best way is to pull the old one off and match them up side by side
