Upstream O2 sensor isnt getting power/ send to PCM
Hello,
I have a 96 4.0 with 270k miles. My O2 sensor light had been on but a new sensor didn't fix the issues. I took it to a shop and they told me that the sensor wasn't getting power/ sending info to the computer. They said it was a short somewhere and it would take hours to find. I didnt want to pay for the labor so I'm trying to figure it out on my own.
Any ideas which wires to check first?
THANKS!!!

First off, you must post the exact code you are seeing. Not just a description.
There are MANY codes related to the oxygen sensor. With OBD, the devil is in the details...for sure!
Once we see the exact code, we might be able to help you.
