Just replaced the upper control arm bushing on my 90. Bought new ones from Napa for $12ea. They would NOT press into the axle no matter what I did! Honed the axle mounts with a brake home, greased the surfaces, used a ball joint press, rigged up a way to drive them with my air chisel, nothing worked! Got disgusted and ran up to Oriellys auto parts, got their house brand of Master Pro, opened the box and they were actually Clevite bushings! $9.99 for the pair! They pressed right in! Looked at the Napa ones and they are made in China! Measured both and the o.d. Was the same but I think the napa one had cheap, thick outer tubing not allowing them to compress in as they should. What a PITA! Just a heads up to all, hopefully you'll avoid my headache

Good to know. I always prefer Clevite bushings.
NAPA used to have all quality parts. I now ask 'what brand' or 'where from' before buying.

Wow that's a shocker. I just did mine and got MOOG's that are stamped Clevite/Made in Mexico. They went right in. Does your 90 have a hollow mount on the passenger side or is it solid like on the drivers side?
