Alpine/pioneer/fosgate/kenwood are all good brands for amps. if you want to get a no name brand like pyle/pyramid/fusion, then you will need to get one that has 3 times the wattage of the name brand amps to get the same sound.
bridged means that you can bridge two channels together to get twice the wattage. you do this by using the (+) on channel 1 and the (-) on channel 2. If you want to power only a sub, get a one channel amp or a two channel bridgeable amp. If you want to power some speakers as well then you need a 4 channel bridgeable amp.
For example: I use my head unit to power my four 5.25 door speakers, then I have a 4 channel alpine amp to power my subs and 6x9's. Channels 1 and 2 are bridged to power the subs, and channels 3 and 4 each power a 6x9.

Howdy, got a friend that just did this like two days ago to his...I'll get him to PM you! He put in a 10" sub in his cubby and it sounds nice!

 

I'm still waiting for mine, supposed to arrive tuesday! hopefully get it installed this week!

 

Could you take some pics and measurements off of the box before installation? I'm interested to see how their enclosure is built and what the dimensions are. Also, pics of the install process and finished results would be awesome as well.

I finally got my sub box, and managed to get it installed last night, works and sounds great!
Not too sure yet how to get picks up, but working on it, if i don't get them here i will put them in my album

Box fits exactly as they said with very little mods, well worth it!

Thanks for the pics, looks like a clean setup. I don't suppose that you have a pic from the back of the box, or have any idea of the box's depth, width, and height as well as material thickness? Is it made out of MDF (medium density fiberboard)? Looks to be a rather simple yet clean design.

Wow im suprised it fits a 10" That space looks very small to me but looks can be decieving. I'm prob going to get this box later on when I have money to burn. As for now im just trying to save for a head unit that Antigua customs decided to steal. Did you notice any rattling in certain spots wheren dynamat was needed? I'd rather you tell me so I can take everything apart once. I know every vehicle is different but it'll give me a guideline to check while it's open.

Did you get the extra space option for 15 bucks? is that what the extended ring around the opening is?

 

Geez, I can't believe that anyone who is able to change a tire would pay someone else to do this for them. Wish I had seen this thread before the OP spent his money (not to take anything away from the OP or the seller). It looks okay, but I did this mod myself in my Cherokee years ago and it's still shaking the interior years later. Was inexpensive, not hard, and I still feel good about having done it myself. I would have to check my Car Domain site, but it's quite possibly the first mod I attempted on my XJ.

 

makes alot more sense replacing the whole panel like that lol... I just had a brain fart and kept trying to figure out something to fit in the orginal opening. My creativity is going down the drain lately. I'll have to get some mdf shipped out here and figure something out to match the carpet.
