So I recently bought an XJ and i noticed that the drivers back rest doesn't come up all the way. I took the seat out today and was looking around and found a quarter inside I guess would be the gearbox on the side of the seat and that thing is bent in half. I was messing with a screwdriver trying to get it out but it will not budge. The gearbox is riveted together so no getting that off unless I drill them out and replace all of them. I'm wondering if there is a way I can get that out. I know its the kind of thing that you never see happen so hopefully something will work. I will try anything most likely.
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion but I didn't have enough room to get them down in there so I ended up taking a screwdriver and hammer and I luckily got it out.
Here's the quarter:
