2001 xj. I get an intermittent tapping/knocking sound. It’s audible in the engine bay and audible in the cab. I’ve felt the tapping in my ac lines but not on the block. Ac is currently not blowing cold and the tapping sound at idle is very fast for idle speed. I have typical 4.0 chatter and it just seems totally seperate from the block. It’s very hard to explain. It doesn’t do it all the time, just seems to pop up every now and again while sitting at idle. I’m going to attempt to link a video I made to try and capture the sound from inside the cab. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
