So I was removing the coolant temperature sending unit and accidently snapped this tube in half (shown in red). The end (shown in green) also came off and I couldn't remember which hole it was in, so I put it in the top hole. Is that where it belongs?

What is this tube for? I think it was oil pressure because I think my oil pressure gauge went a little haywire, but I'm not sure. I also think I was puffing out black smoke.

Is that tube easy to replace?Where can I buy a new one? Thanks.

that is a MAP sensor vacuum tube (pretty sure) . you see how a little bit closer to the throttle body there is a patch, do the same thing and you will be set. some small fuel injector line from autozone should do the trick

While your there you should replace those boots on the injector connectors, thats the perfect place for water to collect and then no injector pulse.

Thanks!

As for what hole the vacuum tube goes in, is it the top or bottom?

I could be wrong here, but your bottom hole stays open. At least that's the way mine is. You just need to reconnect the two free lines.

I'm also curious about the location of this vaccum line. With mine in the bottom hole it runs great just high idle. When I put it in the top hole runs like dog **** but has low idle. Sooo, which one does it plug into??

Alright found the answer. Vaccum line should be in the bottome hole. Top one should be plugged

you could also run brake line and bend it as needed, I did this on my trans am, no more crappy plastic lines breaking
