Default u-joints..

Ok I am about to replace the ujoints in both the front and rear driveshafts..My question is this what brand should I get? I know the local shops all seem to have the ones labled brute force by mcquay and neapco...Is there any particular brand you guys have found to work best?

x2 I get them O'Reillys though...

Greasable, whereas the Brute Forces are not.

Just a question and this could be on opinion but I heard that greasable u-joints are actually weaker and tend to break more, than the non-greasabke ones.

That is true for axle u-joints but not for driveshaft u-joints.

OKC does anyone in your area carry Spicer u-joints? They would be my first choice then my second would be Precision from NAPA or O'Reilley's.

Why would that be? The difference is the hole in the center of one cap for the flush Zerk.

All of the Brute Forces I have used still had the hollow cross castings the same as any greasable one.

THanks for the input..I talked to the guy I bought my lift from and he suggests for the drive shafts the Spicer 5-433-1x - zerk in cap, says it won't bind and if better for driveshafts, for the axle side he suggested the Spicer 5-760x, and I assume those are the bigger ones?? If so then would I need to upgrade my axle shafts?

Well I looked at autozone, oreilleys, napa and advanced auto parts and none sell the spicer joints..So I can either order them or go with the precision..
