Make sure you got the right yoke for your rear end... And make sure you have the specs on torquing that thing back down. Get a new nut if you can, and since you have it off, replace your pinion seal since you're there...
Depends on the model. Snap On-big money, something from Harbor Freight- a lot less and prolly not as accurate, but I use one, and it seems to works just fine. I paid less than $50.00 for mine. HTH!!

it's the rear one i don't know what the transfer case is... but the yoke is facing towards the front. i can get more pictures if you guys want. my friend has his own shop so i think i'm just going to take it to him to do the torquing cuz i don't have the money to buy it. how many pounds does the nut have to be at?
It is your pinion yoke. I can tell by the picture. BTW, the transfer case is what splits power to the front and rear wheels, and is what both of your drive shafts come out of. It's bolted on to the back of the transmission. HTH!!
youll be fine with the pinion yoke and nut from junk yard. what rear end do you have ? you gotta figure that out BEFORE you go to the JUNK YARD!! so you can know which one to get one off of. ALSO COUNT the SPLINES on your yoke do you get the RIGHT one at the jy!!
