Default Tv cable bolt

I was about to replace my tv cable but alas the bolt head snapped off. I was thinking of using a flexible extension with a 90 degree as well to drill and tap. Just putting this out to see if anyone has any ideas to try as well in case my idea fails. Also, if anyone else has done this what size did you go up to for the bolt?

Thanks-Josh

Got a picture? I'm having trouble picturing that bolt you're talking about. Are you talking about down at the trans?

Well that really sucks. Looks like a bad spot to get to. I dont really have much advise, but maybe your right angle drill and tap would work. I would be aftraid of drilling it off center though. I think maybe if I was in this position I would see if a mini c clamp or something would hold it together. The only other option I see is pull the trans so you have room to work and can get a drill and tap straight on to it.

Ya I put a bit of jb weld on the stud and the broken head and clamped it down while it cured. So far it’s holding fine. I’d rather not drop the transmission unless I needed to for something else as well. The 90 attachment was still at an angle a bit and I’d rather not drill the hole at an angle and mess something up worse.
