Need Bolt Size

For the kickdown (detent, TV) cable. I'm missing the bolt that holds it to the trans, and the dealer can't get it anymore. Anyone have a clue?

1) As I've mentioned to others - be patient. Bumping your own thread is bad netiquette, and loads the server. Givvus some time - the guy who might have your answer probably hasn't logged in yet...

2) I'm going to say either M6-1.0x10 or 15m/m, or M8-1.25x15 or 20m/m. If it looks like it's about 1/4", it's the M6 - M8 is close to (and often confused with!) 5/16"-18. M6 is slightly smaller than 1/4"

I understand, but the way this forum's set up, with the tech for so many years shoved into one, it moves so quickly that the average browser isn't ever going to see a thread from 12 hours ago...much less a full day. Just trying to get some much needed answers and I very much appreciate your response. I'll go by the hardware store and get them asap.
