I just bought a 92 cherokee briarwood from a guy at work. it had been sitting for awhile but was started until battery died. I put my truck battery in and was driving it for 2 months with no problems. I have changed the spark plugs, wire, cp sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition coil, rotor button, and distributor cap. I pulled out of a driveway and moved like a foot and motor stalled. I have fuel in the rail and motor will crank but wont start. anyone have any ideas? sitting in a parking lot getting towed to friends house today.

did you replace all that b4 no start or after

the cp sensor, fuel pump, and filter, rotor button, and cap after problem

by cps you mean crank position sensor correct

yeah located on the driver side uperleft corner of bellhousing. i replaced it after it stalled and wouldnt start

tried taking a wire from the cap off to see tried with a srewdriver stuck in wire to the top of post didnt see a spark. but when i sprayed starting fluid in carb and wait awhile the tried it tried to start for 2 seconds. going to put a new cap and rotor button on today

if no spark take the sensor back get a new one ....

pull wire from plug use screw driver to metal to check spark

if your wallets fat you can put all kindaa new parts on and still might not start jm2cw

its tried to start for 2 seconds then it would just crank after i hooked the fuel filter and pump up and sprayed starter fluid in carb and waited a few seconds
