Turning off a CEL?

Turning off a CEL?
I just put a magnaflow cat on and it fixed the bogging down problem i had. It runs like a champ, but now the CEL comes on. I know it's an emissions related CEL and in South Carolina there is noing to emission laws. It doesn't seem to change the performance at all. Personally it doesn't bother me, but I'm trying sell it so if anyome knows how to turn off the CEL let me know
