Turn signal relay-Where is it?!

Turn signal relay-Where is it?!
Please help! This is driving me crazy!
I have a 2000 Cherokee. I need to replace the turn signal relay, but can't find the darn thing. I know I'm looking for a 1" black cube.
It is not in the fuse panel, nor is it on the turn signal assembly. I have checked those places twice.
I have removed the knee panel beneath the steering wheel and have searched and felt around for it, but just can't find it. Can someone PLEASE tell me exactly where I should be looking? I really don't want to take this to a mechanic and pay an arm and leg for something so simple.

Rafman, sorry it's taken so long for someone to answer your question. New threads get created quickly and some of them get overlooked. To answer your question, rRemove the kick panel below the steering wheel. It's directly below the headlight switch, facing towards the front of the vehicle. Should be a 1", gray, box-style relay.
Oh and praetorian - you're absolutely right. CF is worthless. It so horrible when one or two threads don't get answered because a whole slew get created and it gets bumped down the list of new threads that make up pages upon pages of threads.
Go have fun at NAXJA experiencing the EXACT same thing.
