having recently purchased my 97 cherokee, i am still finding little ticks. just before purchasing the truck, the original owner had replaced the headlight switch on the dash and since doing that the turn signals dont work. what could it be. obviously i need to check the bulbs first, but have been too lazy. the bulbs aside, what else could it be? any hellp would be appreciated. thanks.

Yeah I would check the flasher. Do the 4 way (hazard) flashers work? If they work then bulbs are not the problem.

i must agree and say check the flasher fuse under the driver side of the dash. same thing happened to me, went to alaska for a week and came back to find that my turn signals wouldn't flash at all. the fuses are cheap too, and pretty easy to change.
