turn signal not turning off
probably an easy answer but more or less id like to know if its the part or something i did. so i put in my new turn signal switch today.. it will shut off automatically when i turn right but not when left. it will kind of do the click like it will but wont shut off. its no biggie but id rather not be one of those people who drive down the road with there signal constantly going haha.
its got a lifetime warranty so yeah..anything i maybe installed wrong? the jeeps wheels were pefectly straight when parked, i just un-plugged the old and plugged in the new and put it all back together.
TIA

Where both the "cancel springs" (what contacts the cancel-cam) on it when you installed it?
What condition was the cancel-cam in?

Cancel Cam is usually green or white in color. Its directly beneath the lock ring (Lock ring is what needs to be compressed to get that POS little retaining clip off), there is a tube that protrudes out that your horn wire clips into
On the underside of the cancel cam there is a nub that contacts the cancel springs.
Cancel springs are two small clip springs on the inside opening of the turn signal assembly. When the turn signal is activated it pushes the appropiate spring INWARD. When you make your turn, the nub on the cancel cam hits the spring and pushes the turn signal assembly back thusly cancelling the turn signal flashing.
Hope that explains it.
