turn signal/multifunction switch?

turn signal/multifunction switch?
Did some searching without no luck
Bought a 92 cherokee unlimited for my wife. Very nice. Very well maintained, 147k.
drove it home 2and 1/2hrs everything was fine. Headlights on almost home I signal to turn into a gas station and as soon and I flip the switch to turn I loose all lights outside and the turn signals and highbeam light up on the dash. I am thinking the turn signal switch sence when I used it that's when this started but this is my first expirence in this kind of situation. Am I going in the right direction?
