A couple of weeks ago on my 1998 Cherokee, the left turn signal started to work erratically. The clicking sound was strange, and sometimes they would not turn on. Today I decided I had better try to figure out the problem as I need to get an inspection sticker in a couple of days. The left turn signal is working today, but when I checked the hazards, only the driver front was flashing. Are these two problems related? Even though the turn signal is working at the moment, it normally does not. I checked the fuses and they are OK, and I do not have any bulbs out.

I really need help on this one as I have limited skills and tools. Paying someone is out of the questions also.
