Default Turn Signal dead? help!

Hi-
I have a 1990 XJ and as the turn signals are flipped left and right, nothing happens. the 4 ways do work if that means anything. I have checked and changed the flasher.

With the accessory on, I put a test light in the turn signal fuse outlet, and there isnt even power there...

Thanks,
Wes

Which is it, they operate but left is right and vice versa or they don't work? Did you get the correct flasher and did you replace your turn signal recently? If the signal switch and flasher are hooked up correctly check your wiring behind the spare tire under the plastic interior and see if that's messed up or been rewired for towing.

If your 4 ways work and the turns don't, its the turn signal relay under the dash on the drivers side.

Common problem with these trucks. Mine is toasted right now, I'm just too lazy to fix it.

i thought my hazard switch didnt work when i first got mine. but upon playing w/ it if i jam the switch on it works, and accordingly you have to push it hard to get them off. if the hazard switch isnt positioned well, the blinkers dont work at all. try putting the blinker on and then playing w. the hazard switch. idk... its probably the relay, like previously stated.
