After I replaced my front turn signal bulbs (I'm thinking the fact that I replaced them might just be a coincidence), I noticed my right turn signal started acting up. When I start the car, the right signal dash light will usually stay on solid for about 5 minutes but the external signal lights do not. Even if I put my head lights on, the right turn signal (which doubles as the parking lights) stay off. If I attempt to use my blinkers during the period in which the dash indicator is solid, the left signal works fine but the right signal will flash very quickly, I would guess at least double the speed that it normally flashes. Sometimes it works fine. After about 5 minutes of running the Jeep, the dash turn signal light goes out and the blinkers operate normally as well as the parking lights.
The reason I think it's a coincidence that the turn signal acted up after i changed the bulb is because I replaced both the left and right front turn signals at the same time. I used the same bulbs but the issue is only with the right signal. The sockets were corroded, but I took a wire brush to them and cleaned them up pretty well. I also checked the ground (assuming I was checking the correct ground) and nothing was corroded. Before I go hunting for the part the makes the blinkers blink (I'm not sure what it's called but I'm guessing it's some sort of relay), I'd like to hear what you guys have to think.

current does funny things.
Sometimes as a connection heats-up, it loses continuity... sometimes continuity gets better.
Doublecheck the bulb, socket, and ground.

alright I've had a issue with mine that was a ground problem. solderjunkie maybe right because sometimes they would work and then nothing. what I found was the ground wire on the socket to the bulb not making solid contact. I have a metal socket. So I just soldered the wire on and it's never given me a problem since then. hope it gives you some kinda lead. Good luck
