Continuing with my fall maintenance I want to now tune of my 99 XJ. I am planning to replace plugs, distributor cap and wires. Am I missing anything? Are standard Autozone and Advance parts good to go?
Spark Plugs. Under the hood says Champion RC12ECC, is there an updated plug the would be better to use? If it makes any difference it has ported intake and throttle body and a header.

Don't forget the rotor. Check or replace air filter.
And tuneup time is always a good time to review when the last time each and every fluid was changed and things like radiator cap, thermostat, hoses, etc.

How about the plugs, is the under hood sticker plug Champion RC12ECC, the best one or has a improved plug come alone since 1999 that would be better?
