Tune up kit?
What's the are the best things/ brands to do a tune up with she just turned 239000 miles .. I'm Still in high school so it can't break the bank... I actually got a second part time job so I can afford to fix up the jeep.. any help would be appreciated .. I'm sure this had been brought up before but my search won't work on the iPhone app..

Just installed this kit today actually, got it done in about 1:30 hrs plus 1 o2 sensor. XJ is running good, hope to get some better mph.

^^ I like everything in this kit but the plugs. You want champion coppers. I actually bought this kit and then champions separately and it runs amazingly. If you buy all the parts separately, it'll cost you more than that so I also recommend that kit from summit

Below are the things I would recommend for a tuneup on a 93..............
1. Champion copper plugs. Inexpensive. Ensure gap is .035 before installing! Never trust that the gap of a plug is correct out of the box.
2. Decent plug wires. Stay away from "el-cheapo" wires; they are junk. I like Belden, but there are plenty of good brands.
3. Distributor cap and rotor. Try to find ones with "brass" contacts, not aluminum
4. Fuel filter. Often ignored, inexpensive and easy to replace (along side of the vehicle)
5. Air filter. They get dirty!
6. A bottle of quality fuel system cleaner in about 3/4 of a tank of gas. My favorite is TECHRON, which is widely available even at Walmart

Go there for your tune up kit. They have the cheap aftermarket Omix brand, as well as the factory recommended kits. There are 3 pages of tune up kits, choose the right engine and year.
