How hard was it. Did it take long

 

I am not very savy fixing a car so this took about 4-5 hours. Initially started it to replace the filter but felt since I was in there I would change the pump out too. Cost $90 bucks on ebay. I thought the hardest part was getting both hoses (the vent and filler hoses) off the tank. Also screwing the fuel module back into the fuel tank. You need a special tool for this but like most people I used a hammer and screwdriver. Here is a great writeup if you choose to do it.

Nobody is at first, we all learn by doing. And sometimes by doing...then undoing and re-doing after reading the instructions, lol.
You're doing fine! Most folks just take it to a shop for the fuel pump & hand over their wallet. You just saved yourself a nice bundle of cash.

 

dont forget oil filter

 

Would not recommend taking it anywhere to get your oil changed. Too many horror stories + I've changed the oil in my mom's car after 5 years of Walmart oil changes (since the car was new). No bueno. Didn't look like they changed anything.
