Trying to rewire ambient temp sensor - wires were cut
Hello,
I've done some searching and haven't found an answer to my issue.
I just finished up installing an overhead console in my 2000 XJ and it seems to be working good except for the ambient temp sensor. I bought a sensor and found the location for it to plug in behind the bumper and installed it only to find that the wires (violet/green stripe and black/ light blue stripe) coming off of that plug had been cut. I don't see the obvious other end of these wires dangling around anywhere so Im kind of stumped as to where they are meant to connect into the harnesses.
What would be my best approach at this point?
