Question Rear Axle grind

Hope you can help guys, I've got a nasty grind / judder comming from my rear axle/ diff...... seems to judder quite badly when pulling off from stationary ( its only really noticeable when warm) and it grinds and complains when in reverse.

Any ideas / solutions .. this is a new one on me, thanks in advance for any info

Not yet , thats was todays job, but rain prevented me getting underneath

I cant see any obvious signs of leakage anywhere though...and was more wondering if there were any mechanical issues possibly awaiting me?

Could be a loose ring gear or maybe something simple like greasing the slip-joint on the rear drive shaft. Could even be a shock mount thats loose...Tj

When u take the rear cover off take note if there is any metal shavings in the gear oil. Good luck, Tj
