I can see where my airbag module was under my drivers seat, but can anyone tell me where it was moved for the recall? I'm looking to clean up the connections. Airbag light still on after replacing clockspring and cleaning up and adding new grounds.

So I dont wanna just clip the wires to turn off the light? (JK) CC I just read a post of yours saying it was grounded to the front seat structure... well mine is rusty with a small hole in the floor, so I'm gunna kill the battery, and start with that ground. The light is random, like everyone elses...

Make sure you remove the battery negative post connector and let it set for at least 5 minutes before doing anything to the Airbag system.
The ground is on the hump that the driver's seat front is bolted to - covered with carpet.
It could be a bad ground but I'll bet 10 to 1 that it is a defective Airbag Control Module.
Lifting the back of the floor console you can see the back of the module and its connector. If you get this far, verify the connector is secure.

Here is the location of the ground (G200). The view is of the old location of the module. The ground may have been changed when the recall move was accomplished (?).

If you are brave enough to try and change the module, uncouple the yellow connector under the dash (after disconnecting the battery) and before messing with the module. This connector will isolate both Airbags from the module.

View of the module in place.

Just to follow up... it was the connector to the Module. Light would go on, I'd reach behind the arm rest and wiggle it a bit and light would go out. I disconnected the battery and waited a bit, took out arm rest, pulled plug. it was dirty and dusty so i used air and cleaned it out. A little 'letric grease, pushed in in and out a few time (haha), and buttoned it all back up. no problems since. Thanks all (CCken) for your direction.

CCKen, have you heard of a spray contact cleaner called "Deoxit D5" comes highly recommended from Audio freaks as a replacement for di-electric grease only better. I tried it on a window switch seemed to work, time will tell.
