Trunk Latch Problem

Trunk Latch Problem
I was recently cleaning out the back of my XJ and i noticed that i had a small rag that go stuck in my trunk latch on the inside. I tried pulling it out but all i did was rip it. So now i have a small piece still stuck in the latch and causes my trunk to not open. Any suggestions???
