Troubleshooting Advice-Stereo and Cig. Lighter Inoperable
I have a 1996 XJ and the vehicle was stored for nearly 4 years. When getting it road ready from storage, the stereo and cigarette lighter have no power to them. Fuses check out good... even replaced them for kicks and grins just to possibly eliminate an unseen fuse issue.
I have power going IN to the fuses and power going OUT to the devices. Using volt meter I have no power to either device. Obviously I have an open somewhere in the wiring to both devices??? Any thoughts on trouble shooting?
