The top pic is yours, correct Bimmer?
The bottom pic has what you need to test labeled. Read all the words in the pic to find the secret location of the low pressure switch.
Direct quote from Bimmer in his recently closed thread: "I actually know basic rocket science. This is harder."
For a smart gentleman such as yourself, you seem to be lacking in common sense and hands on street smarts. Not everyone is mechanically inclined.
If you couldn't replace your rear shocks without pages and pages of advice (are they done yet?) and it took 10 hours to replace a valve cover gasket......then you probably have no business trying to fix your air conditioning. Just my opinion. AC work is a little more complicated and actually does require special tools and knowledge to be done right, safely and legally.
Not trying to be mean, just honest.
Take it to a professional this time.

AHHH, I finally figured it out!
The photo was VERY confusing b/c it made it look like there was an extra plug in a phantom location. It appears that is it the plug that goes on top of the grey part, but the guy who took that photo positioned the connection in a location different than where it normally is located. Makes for a very confusing photo for someone who is not a pro mechanic who knows the AC system inside and out.
Well, in that case, I did jump the other end of that cable, or the same thing at the labelled photo,
and the clutch did NOT engage. What is the next step?

Bimmer - You should ask yourself; What am I going to do if I find out the clutch in my AC Compressor is bad.
Do you want to waste my (our) time chasing this AC Compressor Clutch down the street?

Over the past 60 years, or so, I've watched my neighbor's dogs chase cars down the street. I've always had to ask myself what the f*** is that a$$ hole dog going to do with the car if he catches it...

But what do I know? I'm just an 18 year old who can read... your first hint should have been that there was no wires coming off of the low pressure SWITCH... come on, bimmer, even you are better than this...
bolded and underlined the important parts so that maybe bimmer can read it more easily.

I had a neighbor which just so happened to have such a dog. One day, the dog DID catch the car. He latched onto the rear tire, right in front of God and everyone, and proceeded to get his own head run over. I say let Darwinism take its natural course on this one, eventually he might grab that proverbial rear tire and get his head run over.

Calling it a "switch" is terrible
When people think switch, they look for something that SWITCHES positions. Like a light switch.
"Connector" is also a terrible vague descriptor, as both sides CONNECT. Doesn't tell you a damn thing.
It should be called "female connector" and "male connector".
Then it would have been way more clear what I was even looking at.
This thread is exactly why most people pay $100 to have a pro change their air filter.
