Troubleshooting 231J TC
Ok, I have come to the conclusion that something is going awry inside my TC. So this weekend, I am pulling the front cover off and looking it over.
First this I am checking is the chain. I think it might be stretched.
What other things should I check while I am in there? Other than the obvious wear and tear on the gears (worn or broken teeth... etc).
I only want to do this once if I can help it.
(The reason I am looking is that it is making a clanking noise and I can visibly see the yoke jerk when it does. All u-joints and cv joints look good so I think maybe the chain is slipping).
Thanks!
