Troubles starting my jeep
So lately it is taking about 1 to 2 minutes of just cranking the engine over before it will actually start, and about 3 times just as i would start turning it over it would die like the battery is dead but it wouldn't even click. It would do absolutely nothing. The way i would fix it after it would die is by pushing on the main fuses, playing with the connection on the alternator, and playing with some wires. I need help cause this is my only way of getting to and from work, and i don't really trust it right now. Thanks if you respond.

Dude, I had the same kind of problem with mine. It's a '94. Sometimes it would start, sometimes it wouldn't. Check the starter solenoid and the wires connecting to it. Mine were covered in engine oil, so I disconnected them, cleaned them, and reconnected them. It might have also helped that I banded the hell out of the starter motor with a pry bar.

So it does crank sometimes but not all the time? I would say the starter solenoid as well. I had a similar problem, though, and it was the CAM sensor.

Your symptoms point directly towards electrical.
1. Remove battery terminals and clean them and the battery posts until they are SHINY! Can't tell much by looking at them.
Connections are often overlooked and marginal electrical can cause extended crank times
2. Load test your battery. Any parts store will do this for you for free
