Default TreadWright is SLOW

I ordered 4 - 31/10.5/15 BFG AT's from Treadwright 2 Fridays ago (2/27/09) and have been getting the run around for a week now. They are VERY slow on answering you and never call back so be careful of them. They told me today that they will be here on Friday (that's 10 working days) but I don't believe them...Yet...Tj

You have to keep in mind with the economy the demand for their product has increase quite a bit. Since they will only use good casings sometimes it can be tough and take time getting enough stock to keep up with demand. I also talked to Joel and he said they are in the process of setting up a new machine to make the 31" tires since that's the product they can't keep up on. I do agree however their communication can be little to desire and slow at times.

Yeah I called them and mine haven't shipped yet either and I ordered my almost 2 weeks ago..I have been shopping around and may be able to get some tires locally for about $125 a tire plus mount, balance and valve stem. So I am going to give it till next week and if nothing comes I'll call and cancel and just suck it up and pay a little more. I need some new tires and can't wait much longer.

Well my Treadwrights just came in. FedEx truck just dropped them off..They look mighty nice..They are on BFG KO casings..I'll be getting them installed this week on the rims then I'll post some pics.. They are way bigger then my MudKing 30's (which measure about 29.4).

My 33's came in 4 days. Same time frame on my 31's last year. I'd just check with them before u order, that way you know if it will take more time. I made sure what i ordered was in stock, so i would get it quick.

Yeah when I ordered mine I called and talked to Joel and knew they would take a bit and was told this week. Emailed to get confirmation whether they shipped this week and just never got a reply. Like I said the product is good and when they are in stock and not back ordered then they ship fast based on prior reviews but right now they can't hardly keep up with demand. They get a shipment of casings in and they are gone before they get off the line.. The 31" tires are their best selling tires so you just have to be patient on getting them because it's going to take a couple weeks right now. Once they get their new machine online they will be able to keep up with demand a whole lot better. Doesn't bother me much since you to buy new locally would cost me double for 5 tires.

Well they finally came in yesterday YEA... they look good but are not as wide as they say they are supposed to be. I measured them and they are only 8 wide not 10.5 but that's not on rims yet so I will have to find out Monday when I get them put on...Tj
