Transmission trouble
I have a 96 country with an automatic and when at a complete stop and taking off transmission acts like it's stuck in a higher gear it takes off really slow but if I manually put it in first and shift it manually it goes through all gears fine thinking of getting the tranny flushed am I on the right track or will I be wasting my time and money an just get a new tranny??
Do not flush the tranny. Drain and refill several times about 100 miles apart until it comes out very red. There are many things that could cause this problem. Low fluid, bad TCU, possibly your kickdown cable needing adjusting. Among other things I know nothing about. Just keep search around for some of those terms to learn what they are and what the symptoms are fir those things and just try to match them up. Good luck. Problems like that can be a pain to track down.
Sorry guys haven't been on for awhile just moved back to my home town but also haven't had time to address my transmission problem it has proper amount if fluid it used to do it every so often now it's all the time
