Transmission thumps while going up hill
I have been experiencing this problem lately when driving up hills. I am on the gas going up a hill and when I push the gas down harder to get more power the transmission sounds like it is thumping (not grinding) like it is trying to change gears but cant? It will just thump over and over until I completely remove my foot from the pedal and then reapply it. Does anyone have an idea if this is a problem? Maybe flush the transmission fluid? Thanks
If it won't downshift and its struggling to get up the hill that could be what you hear. Try adjusting your transmission cable and see how it does. http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...iagnostics.htm
