Transmission/TCM problem
Good afternoon,
so when driving, the jeep seems to lose drive like it’s in neutral.
it revs to about 3500 rpm and it tries engage a little like it wants to go but slightly, so I let off because it feels like it would damage the engine.
So I stop turn off and turn back on the jeep, it goes back to normal driving and shifting like normal. But 20 minutes later it goes back to not shifting properly,
What could be causing this problem?
(note: I had in a tcm I got from a jeep that was down for transmission issues, I switched back to my original tcm but I haven’t tested it yet)

Check the fluid level, and that the cable from the throttle body to the transmission is adjusted https://bleepinjeep.com/video/having...v-cable-first/
Is it acting like it's shifting into the wrong gear, versus slipping? That might point to an electrical issue, such as a bad solenoid or damaged wiring. If you disconnect the TCM, can you shift manually through the gears with the shifter? It's almost never the TCM.

I haven’t disconnected the TCM and drove it as yet.
The problem first started 2 weeks ago and I added transmission fluid and it hasn’t happened until last night.
Initially, I thought it was the transmission Power/comfort switch affecting the trans, because it happened after I switched from power to comfort while driving.
