Default Transmission reinstall...

Having problems realigning the spline almost seems like there is something in the way...do I need more pressure there because the Slave cylinder is there and needs to be compressed????

I'm BAFFLED...NEED HELP

It should slip together easily.
Sounds like you have the clutch mis-aligned. Run your fingers around the pressure plate and feel the disc/plate over lap and make sure its even.
If you can't get it, I suggest buying an alignment tool.
Do not try to force it. You will end up with a broken bellhousing or worse.

Thanks Caish...normally when you get the Clutch Kit it does come with the alignment plastic tool...I have done clutches before but haven't done one that has the Slave cylinder on the splined shaft...have had a few responses on a couple of other sites to put the transmission in gear and move the output shaft to align the splines with the clutch plate...the bad thing here is I'm working on this from underneath the Jeep and it's fully intact...I wasn't sure about separating part of the transmission to have a little less weight to wiggle it in easier...does this sound do able...not sure with the transfer case there what I'm separating as to gears and what not...
