I have the trans out of my '94 to replace clutch. Does anyone know where I can get the spring clip that holds clutch fork onto pivot ball? my local auto parts can not get it. The clip is broke in half.

While I have trans out is there anything else I should inspect or replace?

Check and or replace the rear main seal, inspect the flywheel, have it turned if needed..

As for the clip.. might try dealer

as a last resort you COULD form your own from stainless spring form stock and heat treat it.. JK

Lucky for me when I changed my clutch the clip was still good to go.. i think dealer is the only place that would have it...

You could try a wrecking yard for the spring and I would do a whole clutch pack: plate, disc, throwout brg, piolt bushing, turn or replace fly wheel for the price i have just replaced the last 2 i did you dont what to have to go back in

thanks. yes I bought complete clutch kit from Napa for $170 and having flywheel turned (even though it looks smooth) Flywheel turning is $43...seems kinda high?
I will check with dealer for spring, or order online from Morris 4x4 center;
