Question Transmission noise?

Every time I shift my transmission from park to drive, or 3 it makes a kinda loud clink noise is that normal? I usually park on a hit but it does that even when I am on flat ground, and when I park on the hill I usually turn the wheel and roll back so the jeep rests on the wheel not the brake or trans... I hope I am just being paranoid.

U-joints, motor mounts, trans mount...........A visual inspection is needed. Can you do that?

Could that also cause a sorta binding in the rear? After I put it into reverse for the first time and go to back up there is a hesitation then a light POP before I take off.
