...when you do the engine mounts, you'll want to loosen up the tranny mount bolts because if your transmission mount is new and you don't do that there's NFW you're EVER going to get the big bolt through there...

Actually shoulda called this thread




"Motor Mounts".

Another of the endless number of vibrations I got was caused by the engine pipe hitting the transmission support bar. The new mounts will raise the engine up at least 3/8".

I guess motor mounts don't have to necessarily be ripped to shreds to be bad.

They can just get "tired".
