This is a brand new Mopar transmission mount -- is it supposed to have this incline here?

 

I seem to recall having the same question. If I'm not mistaken its flexible so even though it looks weird there is no problem. Mine looked like that and its been on for 3 years now with no issue. Good job getting the mopar, I had a terrible experience with one of the after market brands.

 

That's normal because the trans isn't actually parallel with the crossmember. I think, the taller side faces forward but double check.

 

To follow up, yep, the taller side faces forward, or at least that's how the old was when I pulled it off and how the new one went in.
