Default Transmission making weird noise.

My transmission or something around it has started to make a knocking noise like something is coming loose, it only makes this noise when i start to go but not when its in nuetral. the engine also bogs down a little bit but revs fine when not in gear. just wanted to hear any ideas on what this could be thanks!

If its a knocking sound coming from pretty much right behind the engine its pry a loose/cracked flex plate.

That would have nothing to do with it bogging down though, sounds like two separate problems.

Take the cover off the flywheel and look up into the motor/trans and look for the bolts (there should be 6) your going to have to turn the motor by the hamonic balancer (front of motor) to rotate it. You also may want the check the bolts holding the motor to the trans...Tj
