Ill try and keep it quick.

the trans line on the inlet of radiator(upper) got a hole in it from the harmontic balancer. (Yea i didnt hang it right after the engine swap). well went to swap it from the donar engine but it had holes. so i got a new one. it went in to the trans ok. the new one is only the metal hose to the rubber hose and doesnt come with the metal hose from the rubber hose to the radiator(make sense?) so i kept mine. the new one had 4 clips in it my old one did not. just pluging the new hose to the old metal hose from the rad it leaked badly. so i took out the 4 clips..leaked. i put in 2orings and 2 plastic clips...leaked. one oring one clip...leaked. see whats happening here? so in a fit of rage i cut the new rubber hose part off and attached it to the one from the donar(it leaked towards the trans). that leaked too!! so im completly lost on the proper places and order of the 2 oring and the plastic ones. im gonna give it one more shot tomorrow and if it dont work im just doing with out the rubber half of the holse and clamping 3/8 hose from new line to the short line from the trans.

so whats the order of the rubber orings and plastic orings? or should i just use 3/8 hose and clamp it?

you will be fine doing it this way as long as the ends goin to trans/radiator dont leak run a hose from one to the other
