Default Transmission lines

Has anyone ever gotten there transmission lines crushed by there upper control arm

Thanks I ended up bending a piece of tubing to go around that area . Is your oil pan also have like a hit drone the upper control arm to ????

I also just ran into this problem last weekend!! What do you mean by cutting out the crushed section and replacing it with some high pressure hosing and clamps? Can you post a picture of it? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

He means cut the stock pipe with a tubing cutter and measure the OD (outside diameter) of the line.

Buy some rubber tubing with the ID (inside diameter) the size of the OD of the stock pipe. Slip the rubber hose over the stock hose, hoseclamp the **** out of it, run it to wherever you're running it, and you're done.

Been there. Fixed it with a washing machine water hose ( all I had on hand), been fine since.

I figure this is a cheap and easy fix to the problem but how reliable is it? I drive every couple months close to a 500 mile trip and I dont want this thing to bust on me.

the lines are realy low pressure, iv heard of a garden hose being used to do this lol,,... don't worry, regular hose clamps were used on cars and worked just fine before they started using pressure fittings and it will seal just fine

I just did mine a few months ago , trans cooler hose and some fuel injection hose clamps 2 per side and call it done. It might be over kill but I drive my jeep everywhere.
