Default transmission line?

I needed a new lower transmission line, so I went to NAPA and got one. Im not quite sure how to put it on though, and was wondering if anyone on here put one on?

the metal tubing end goes into the trans. and clips onto a plastic coupler -
& the flange end goes into where the metal piece is cutoff -
it also had a plastic coupler ...
sometimes the line will leak at the rad. side that i cut off the flange part of the hose and hose clamped it to the metal rad. line,,,, but im not sure you will be able to do this without getting a nother metal rad. tubing.
