transmission issue
Been having an issue with my 2000 xj sport. its been reving up to about 3000 RPMS until shifting and after 3rd gear, 4th and 5th will not go in. have a trail the day after thanksgiving and would appreciate all the help possible lol.

Shifting real high, as if you had the throttle all the way down, is common symptom of a bad throttle position sensor. The TPS sensor is also sensitive to pressure washing if you've been doing some engine bay cleaning. Also adjust the throttle to trans cable. https://bleepinjeep.com/video/having...v-cable-first/
