Transmission grinding in park and rev.
I have a 99 Cherokee with an aw4 auto trannie with 235,000. Wife said the other day if she put the trans in park it would screech then if you put it in drive it would be ok, then if you put it in reverse it would screech grind again. After you turn the jeep off and back on again it's fine. Anybody got any thoughts or antidotes?
